Throttle Lever
This lever controls engine speed. Move the lever side to side to
increase or decrease engine rpm. Always operate the engine
with the throttle lever in the MAX position.

Choke Lever
The choke lever opens and closes the choke valve in the
carburetor.
•
Place the choke lever in the CLOSED position (3) when
starting a cold engine.
•
Move the choke lever to the OPEN position (2) after the
engine starts. When restarting a warm engine, leave the
lever in the OPEN position.

Fuel Shut-off Valve
The engine is equipped with a valve between the fuel tank and
the carburetor.
•
Slide the fuel valve lever toward the engine block (2) to turn
fuel ON, and away (3) to turn OFF.
•
Turn the fuel OFF when not in use or when transporting.
