Spread  on  the  two  grills  of  the  filling  chamber  (upper  combustion  chamber)  about  5-6
sheets  of  crumpled  newsprint  (please  begin  at  the  front).  Do  not  use  cardboard.  Then
spread highly inflammable kindling (again begin at the front) over the complete width of
the grill (quantity/amount: about 200 grams softwood or about 500 grams hardwood).

Then spread thin logs of wood (we recommend beech
wood)  horizontally  and  over  the  complete  width  of
the grill.

Now you can ligth the fire and you should
wait until it sets up the necessary embers  (2- 3 cm)
in the upper combustion chamber, the embers has to
cover  the  grill  completely  (this  takes  about  30
minutes).

Then  spread  thin  logs  of  wood  (we  recommend  beech  wood)  horizontally  and  over  the
complete width of the grill.

Afterwards fill the combustion chamber with wood (length of the logs max. 35 cm). The
wood should follow on easily. Please try to avoid hollow spaces.

Wait until the stove and the chimney have warmed
up (300-350° C exhaust temp.) and have enough
draught. Then you can close the exhaust fume flap
(5) for the direct smoke outlet.

The flame is now burning in the lower combustion
chamber.

Please insert only as much wood as the warmth store is
able to take up and to convert into energy.

If you want to insert more combustibles into
the stove, make sure the exhaust fume flap is
closed, otherwise smoke exits the door.
