Risk of fire from flying sparks
Molten metal or slag falling onto
inflammable material can cause a fire.
Always remove any inflammable material
from the work area before starting work.
Always have a fire extinguisher ready.
Always take special care around the
following materials:

Paper
-
Rags
-
Fabric
-
Wood and wood fibres
-
Rubber
-
Plastic
-
Petrol
-
Oil
-
Materials containing tar
-
Paints and solvents.
Danger of explosion.
Flying sparks as well as hot welding joints
can cause an explosion or fire. Do not
operate the tool in potentially explosive
environments in which substances such
as inflammable liquids, fumes and in
particular particles of paint and dust are
present.
Additional precautions:

Never place the welding torch on the
welder or any other electrical appliances
when the welder is switched on.

Do not touch the contact tip or any
conductive item that may be in contact
with the electrode holder while the welder
is switched on.

Disconnect the machine from the mains
immediately after finishing work.

Do not allow cables to become entangled
around your body during work.
-
Avoid any direct contact with the welding
current circuit. The torch and the earth
clamp must always be one circuit. Do not
place yourself in the welding circuit.

WARNING!
Implement the following precautions to
prevent fire, explosion and damages
• Explosion and fire can cause burns and
death.
• Welding of containers with flammable
substances or flammables gases and
liquids is prohibited.
• The work area must be free of dangerous
substances like flammable materials
and flammable gases.
• Do not weld air tight containers, tanks,
pipes, etc. that contain gas.
• Inspect the insulation of the welding
cables prior to connection.
• Keep just welded, hot materials and
flammable materials separate.
• Keep a suitable fir extinguisher close to
the work area in case of emergency.
• Weld and grind separately.
• Accumulation of dust can damage the
insulation. Regular maintenance and
repair is required.
WARNING!
The following precautions must be taken
to avoid severe injuries:
• Bystanders must not enter the working
area
• Persons with a pacemaker must not
use the welder and may only enter the
working area upon medical advice.
• The welder may only be installed, used
or maintained by experts or similarly
experienced persons.
• The welder may only be used by persons
that are familiar with the applicable
work safety regulations.
• The device may only be used for arc
welding.
