9) Do not use fuels that evaporate easily to aid in starting.
10) To avoid accidents caused by unintentional starting of the
generator, pull the spark plug connector before carrying out any
servicing or maintenance work.
11) Wear gloves when starting the power generator or carrying out
service and maintenance work.
12) Dispose of left over liquids in an eco-friendly manner and
according to the applicable regulations.
Be extremely careful
when disposing of waste liquids such as petrol and/or engine oil.
13) Store petrol and engine oil in suitable and properly labelled
containers.
Prevent unauthorised access to them.
14) Avoid ignition sources and never smoke near the power
generator.
15) Connect electrical equipment to the generator only when
the rated voltage matches the rated voltage indicated on the
generator nameplate and ensure that all connected electrical
equipment is in good condition.
16) Fuel is incendiary and highly flammable. Do not fill during
operation. Do not fill when smoking or near open fire. Do not
spill fuel.
17) Caution! Take into account the requirements and precautions in
the event of replenishment of an installation by generating sets,
depending on the protective measures of this installation and
the applicable guidelines.
18) Generating sets should be used only up to their rated power
under the rated ambient conditions. If the generator set is used
under conditions not complying with the reference conditions
of ISO 8528-8:2016, 7.1, and if the cooling of the engine or
generator is affected, e.g. as a result of operation in restricted
areas, a reduction in power is required.
