Starting the power generator
• Push the overload protection switch

down to "OFF" position.
• If necessary, disconnect the mains plugs of any electrical devices that are
connected.
• Check the engine oil level (see chapter "Checking the engine oil level").
• Check the air filters (see chapter "Cleaning the air filter").
• Check the ventilation grills and slits for dirt accumulation (see chapter
"Checking the ventilation grills and slits").
• Carry out a visual inspection and check if all the parts are clean and
undamaged.
• If you start the power generator in a room, connect an exhaust gas hose to
the power generator and switch on the extraction device.
• Open the Petrol cock

• Push the On/Off switch of the
generator

to "ON".
• Press the choke lever

the left as far as it goes.
• Hold the frame of the power
generator firmly with one hand.
• Grasp the handle

of the pull-
starter and pull it carefully until you
feel some resistance.
• Pull the handle with impetus.
• Repeat the last two steps if the power generator has not started.
• If the power generator has started, slowly push the choke lever to the right as
far as it goes.
• Allow the power generator to run for at least one minute without connecting
any electrical devices.
