General instructions for cleaning
Check the ventilation grills and slits
Ventilation grills and slits are located at the following places:
−
Near the handle

on the sides of the power generator,
−
at the back, under the handle

• Check all the ventilation grills and slits for dirt accumulation.
• Clean the ventilation grills and slits, e. g. using a soft brush, so that air can
flow through without being obstructed.
NOTE!
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon
bristles, or any sharp or metallic objects such as knives, hard scrapers
etc. They could damage the surfaces.
Do not use tap water or other liquids for cleaning.
Do not use electrical cleaning equipment.
Wipe all the surfaces and components with a slightly dampened cloth. Dampen
the cloth using a mild soap solution.
• Allow the power generator to run for 10 minutes and check whether the oil
drain plug is sealed properly and that engine oil is not leaking.
• If necessary, tighten the oil drain plug again provided you do not apply a lot of
force.
• Dispose of the used engine oil in an eco-friendly manner (see chapter
"Disposal").
CAUTION!
Make sure that liquids do not get inside the product.
