5.7 Inspection
Important
When installation is complete, authorized personnel must carry out a general test to ensure that the
safety conditions have been completely satisfied.
The authorized personnel must also check:
- that no tools or other material have been forgotten inside the equipment.
- that the fixing screws have been tightened.
- that the oil level in the reduction unit is proper.
Before starting to operate the equipment.
- Ensure that the plant in which the microfilter is installed is compliant to the Directive 2006/42/ EC and to the
relevant directives, the safety standards in force and those specifically applicable;
- Make sure the operation conditions have been met.
Start the separator up to ensure the direction of rotation of the separator is correct.
At the start-up of the separator version proved with the screw conveyor made from SINT
®
, for a few seconds
one will hear a noise generated by the movement of the screw.
When the material is fed in, the noise will stop.
Important
Check the direction of rotation of the two screws (see image below).
