Before adding the oil, wipe the filler plug and the mouth carefully to prevent contamination of the lu
-
bricant.
Add the same kind of oil as that contained inside (see “Lubricants Table”).
Top up, replace the sealing washer and screw in the filler plug (
B
).
7.4 Gear reducer lubrication
The gear reducers are filled with oil and are provided with level, drainage and venting plugs.
- Checking the lubricant oil level
Follow the indications bellow:
1)
Check the correct level of oil in the gear box through the level
indicator (
A
).
The oil must reach the line in the middle of the level indicator.
2)
Fill oil through the bore in the filler plug (
B
) until reaching the
proper level.
7.3 Cleaning the screen
Remove the screen basket as indicated at page 50 (Replacing the screen).
Wash the screen basket with a hot water jet to remove all solid particles and crusts on the mesh.
Then reposition the screen inside the separator by paying attention to insert it in the right direction.
