SHIPPING AND RECEPTION
4.1
Shipping
The Vibrator, shipped by Visam s.r.l., is packed inside an appropriate cardboard box and/or on a
pallet and/or inside an appropriate rigid box (crate) in a stable position (Fig. 04-01).
NOTE
All materials are checked by Visam s.r.l. prior to shipping.
4.2
Reception
Upon receipt of the Vibrator, check the package for any defects or damage and if it appears to have
been opened, torn and/or dented during transportation, the clause “ACCEPTANCE SUBJECT TO
VERIFICATON” must be annotated in the relative Transport Document (DDT).
Inspect the Vibrator immediately upon receipt. If any parts are missing or damaged, the transport
company must be notified straight away by written report, to be submitted 8 (eight) days from the
date of receipt of goods. A copy of the report must be forwarded to Visam s.r.l..
NOTE
Failure to include the clause “ACCEPTANCE SUBJECT TO VERIFICATON” in the relevant
transport document (DDT) shall void all rights of recourse of the Purchaser against the transport
company while exempting Visam s.r.l. from any liability thereof.
WARNING
Packaging materials must be disposed of in compliance with the local regulations in force.

HANDLING AND LIFTING
5.1
Handling
WARNING
The Vibrator must be handled in observance of the current regulations concerning safety in
the workplace.
In case the Vibrator is still inside its original package and weighs 25kg (60lb) , use a forklift or a
transpallet, making sure these devices are type-approved and of appropriate capacity (Fig. 05-01).
In case the Vibrator is still inside its original package and weighs 25kg (60lb) or less, it can be
lifted by hand by using the appropriate handles, where present (Fig. 05-02).
