Lifting
WARNING
Lifting operations must be carried out in observance of the current regulations concerning
safety in the workplace.
In case the Vibrator weighs 25kg (60lb) or less, it can be lifted by hand by using the appropriate
handles, where present (Fig. 05-03).
In case the Vibrator weighs more than 25kg (60lb) , utilize equipment with adequate capacity and
make use of the appropriate lifting rings located on the main frame (Fig. 05-04).
WARNING
The lifting rings prescribed for the Vibrator must not be used for lifting the machine on which
the vibrator is installed (Fig.05-05).

STORAGE
If the Vibrator is not going to be installed within an average time period (less than six months), it
must be stored in a clean and dry sheltered place, (max humidity: 60%) at a temperature no lower
than +5°C (+40 °F) and no higher than +40°C (+105 °F). The processed surfaces that are to be
coupled to the machine must be protected with anti-oxidant coating.
In case the Vibrator has been stored for more than 6 (six) months, the shaft must be rotated from
time to time to prevent oxidation of the bearings. To perform this operation, remove one of the
weight covers and manually rotate the weights approx. 10-15 times (Fig. 06-01), then put the
cover back over the weights, making sure the O-Ring is fitted properly into place (Fig. 06-02).
In case the Vibrator has been stored for more than 24 (twenty-four) months, the bearing grease must
be replaced. Consult an authorized assistance center before proceeding, since special equipment
must be used to avoid damaging the Vibrator and also to prevent harm to people and things.
NOTE
If the machine on which the Vibrator is installed is to be stored outdoors, it must be protected
from rain and dirt with an adequate cover to prevent the formation of condensation (Fig. 06-03).
