Warning! / Important!
Fire hazard, short-circuit risk and threats to life!
The equipment may be operated only after all the intended covers have been
fitted, otherwise the warranty and guarantee relating to the boiler become void, as
there is a risk of contact with parts under voltage or hot elements!
Before the commencement of works, unplug the electric supply connector,
and re-plug it to the socket for the purpose of trial operation only when all
the covers have been fully and professionally installed.
Warning! Start the cleaning operation only when the boiler has fully cooled down!
Warning! Fire hazard! Glowing residues in the ash always represent fire hazards.
Vacuum clean the ash only if your are absolutely certain that there is no glowing fire in
the ash.
8.1. INSPECTING AND CLEANING THE BURNER PAN
Please
inspect
on a
daily basis
, or on every second day at the latest whether the burner pan
holds burning residues (ash/cinder). Clean the burner pan and bore-holes when 30 g ash/cinder
has become generated at the latest.
Remark:
When the boiler is operated continuously, switch it off at least twice within 24 hours in
order to clean the burner pan. RISK OF FLASHBACK %
The
burner pan can be cleaned
within a few seconds when operation is paused; for this
purpose, use a scraper to pull out the ash from the burner pan, until just a little glowing fire
remains. Let the ash simply fall into the ash space.
Important instructions:
•
All the openings of the burner pan should
always be left free.
•
In the burner pan, the ash cannot be mashed
or squeezed so that the clogging of the air
openings could be avoided.
•
After each cleaning operation, ensure
whether the burner pan is fitted in the
collecting unit appropriately and tightly.
Caution! Fire hazard!
When glowing fire remains in the ash, it represents acute fire hazard. Vacuum clean the
ash only if your are absolutely certain that there is no glowing fire in the ash.
