7. Take the soapstone panels out of the packaging (use the correct lifting procedures and take care not to injure your back).
8. Place the lower side stones into position. A pin on the bottom plate of the wood-burning stove ensures the stone
remains in place (see fi g. 11).
9. Screw the headless Allen bolt into the connection. This bolt will be the connection pin for the second stone (see fi g. 12).
10. Place the second stone in position and attach it with another headless Allen bolt (see fi g. 13).
11. The upper mounting clamp can be adjusted by loosening the 2 bolts in the slotted holes (see fi g. 13a).
12. Replace the steel front plate using the 4 magnets. A pin/hole connection ensures the plate does not sag (see fi g. 14).
13. Gently place the 2 upper stones into position on top of the wood-burning stove (see fi g. 14).
Assembling the handle (all models):
There are 2 holes pre-drilled into the door. The handle can be bolted into place using the M6 bolts.
Repairs
Glass replacement
•
Open the door,
•
Remove the 4 screws on the inside of the door,
•
Remove the 2 glass holders,
•
Carefully remove the glass from the door,
•
Ensure the seal is undamaged and has not come loose. If this
is not the case, reattach the seal with heat-resistant sealant, or
replace the seal completely,
•
Place the new glass in position; take the sharp edges of the
glass into account
•
Reassemble the various parts.
Inner combustion chamber replacement
Please adhere to the order of removal when removing the panels
from the wood-burning stove;
•
Remove the front grille (H)
•
Remove the bottom plate (A)
•
Remove the front left plate (B) and front right plate (C),
•
Tilt the large baffl e plate (G) slightly and remove the left rear
plate (D),
•
Remove the large baffl e plate (G),
•
Remove the rear right plate (E),
•
Remove the rear wall (F).
•
You can leave the small vermiculite baffl e plate (I) in place.
Cleaning fl ue gas bypass channels
All images can be found on page 58.
•
Remove the upper stones from the wood-burning stove (use
the correct lifting procedures and take care not to injure your back) and the lower front plate (this is fi xed in place with
magnets)
•
On the left and right of the wood-burning stove you will see a number of butterfl y bolts, unscrew these and remove the
valve (see fi g. 15).
•
Brush the deposits downwards into the collectors using a brush.
•
You can now remove the collectors in the space under the wood-burning stove by unscrewing them (see fi g. 16 and 17).
•
Reassemble all parts and screw everything tight so fl ue gases cannot escape.
•
Place the upper stones back into position on the wood-burning stove.
