Fire safety
For ire safety reasons, it is important to observe the following regulations before itting the burner.
1.
If the loor around the burner is made of lammable material, use a loor plate.
The loor plate should have a minimum size of: 50 cm from the burner at the front
of the door; 30 cm from the burner on each side of the door.
2.
Keep a minimum distance of 80 centimetres between the burner and lammable objects,
such as curtains, wooden objects (cupboards and paintings) and glass objects.
Keep the same distance from the lue.
3.
Wooden construction parts within the radiation range of the burner
(80 centimetres from the outside) must be clad in a ireproof manner.
4.
If the lue passes through a ceiling and/or roof made of lammable materials,
the ceiling and roof should be lined with ireproof materials approximately
80 centimetres around the perimeter. Pay attention to beams and any electrical cables.
5.
There must be a minimum distance of 50 centimetres (in all directions)
between the burner and load-bearing steel construction components.
6.
Screen off all lammable materials within a radius of 80 centimetres from the burner openings.
Do this with non- lammable materials.
7.
Never cover the burner with lammable material (such as wallpaper).
8.
The wall behind the burner must consist of, or be insulated with, ireproof materials.
The insulation material must withstand a temperature of 700 degrees Celsius and have a
density of at least 80 kg/m3.
Installation
The WAN-2060 is tested as per international standard EN 13229 and has an extra extension standard
for optimal environment-friendly heating with regard to lue gases (German legislation as per Art. 15a
B-Vg. Des BmfWA). The wood-burner may be connected to a lue to which several ireplaces are con-
nected. The lue pipe has a diameter of 150 millimetres (connection 146 mm external).
