Microwall for each connection establishment according to
the rule.
Accept connection
allows the data traffic defined by the
rule.
6�5�1 Using hostnames as the target of a rule
In rules that enable connections in the direction of
Network

, the destination can also be specified in the form of a host
name (e.g.
www.wut.de
). The prerequisite for this is that the
initiating participants in
Network 2
use the IP address of the
microwall there as the DNS server.

If the microwall works as a DNS proxy for users in
Net-
work 2
, the DNS server configured on Network 1 must be
accessible for correct query response.
Individual host names as well as comma-separated host lists
can be used (e.g.
www.wut.de, www.timeair.de
).
The * character can be used as a wildcard in a hostname.
Within a hostname, one wildcard is allowed and it must be at
the beginning (e.g.
*.wut.de
). Within name lists this applies to
every hostname.
