Problems with no reference to a qualified 
specialist or certified electrician may be 
rectified independently. 

 

Other problems are only to be dealt with 
by a qualified specialist or certified electri-
cian. 

 
 

Problem

External venetian blind motor is 
not functioning 

 

Motor is malfunctioning. 

Motor change (specialist only) 

 

On-site motor connection is incorrect. 

Reconnect as per wiring diagram 
(certified electricians only) 

 

Motor thermal protection switch has 
triggered 

Wait 10 to 15 minutes, then try again 

 

There is no current 

Check the power fuse (certified 
electricians only) 

 

A higher-level control command is 
present 

Await switch on/off delay 

Bottom rail does not move to limit 
positions 

 

Limit positions of the motor are 
incorrect. 

Readjust the motor again (specialists 
only) 

 

Guide rail is soiled 

Remove soiling 

The external venetian blind 
moves up or down erratically 

 

Blockage in the vicinity of the guide 

Move the product up (down) slightly 
and then move it back down (up) 

If the fault occurs again: Fully raise 
the external venetian blind and inform 
the qualified specialist. 

 

Blockages in the area of the polyam-
ide-sheathed steel wire cords
