General conditions 

 

 

Product damage from incorrect operation 
in stormy weather! 

If the recommended wind speed limits are 
exceeded (see Tab. 2), damage to the 
external venetian blinds can be expected. 

 

Raise the external venetian blinds to the 
upper limit position and take out of opera-
tion. 

 
 

 

Product damage from incorrect behaviour 
in windy weather! 

Especially in winter, external venetian blinds 
can be expected to freeze up. In cold 
temperatures, raise the external venetian 
blinds to the upper limit position and take 
them out of service. We recommend the use 
of an ice monitoring system.

vice. 

 
 

 

Risk of injury and product damage due to 
power failure! 

Motorised external venetian blinds cannot be 
retracted without power. Manual emergency 
operation or an emergency power supply 
should be considered for windy regions with 
frequent power failures. 

 
 

 

Risk of fatal injury from installation error!

Installation in front of emergency exits and 
escape doors is 

not

 permitted. 

 

Operating notes 

 

 

Product damage from operation of faulty 
product!

 

Only operate external venetian blinds if they 
are in technically perfect condition. If the 
external venetian blind makes unusual noises 
or movements, stop using it immediately. 
Inform your qualified specialist. 

 
 

 

Risk of pinching and injury! 

When raising and lowering the product, do not 
reach into movable parts (e.g. bottom rail 
and/or slats). 

 
 

 

Product damage and property damage 
from carelessness during operation.

 

The projection area of the product must be 
kept clear of fixed and movable obstacles.
