Sensor Splitter
6.2 Procedure for
WAREMA climatronic
®
During commissioning, only make changes to the red and black wires of
the bus lines.
NTTE
Only switch on the voltage of the network that is currently being commis-
sioned. If the sensor splitter or weather stations are supplied by separate
power supply units, they must be switched on for commissioning as well.
Proceed as follows to commission the entire installation.
Switch off the power supply of all components.
Check that all four wires of the bus line are correctly wired. The red and
black wires must be connected as shown in (

).
For commissioning, set
all
sensor splitters to SLAVE (encoding switch 1 set
to OFF).
Separate the bus line in such a way that the bus of the weather station (sen-
sor bus) is only connected with the bus of the first climatronic (climabus 1)
(

). The sensor splitter is completely separated from the bus and
the bus lines are directly connected to each other.
Switch on the power supply for climabus 1 and the weather station.
Commission climatronic 1 with all components. Follow the instructions ac-
companying the climatronic.
NTTE
Learn in the weather stations into the same positions on all WAREMA cli-
matronic
®
control panels (e.g. weather station 1).
When you learn in a weather station on a climatronic as weather station 1,
and then learn it in on the next climatronic as weather station 2, the bus ad-
dress in the weather station is overwritten. The first climatronic will no longer
be able to find the weather station.
Switch off the power supply of all components.
Change the bus wiring in such a way that the sensor bus is only connected
with climabus 2 (

). The sensor splitter is completely separated
from the bus and the bus lines are directly connected to each other.
Switch on the power supply for climabus 2 and the weather station.
Commission the climatronic 2 with all components as described above. En-
sure that the weather stations are allocated in the same way as in the first
climatronic.
Switch off the power supply of all components.
Proceed as described for climatronic 2 with all remaining climatronic
networks.
Switch off the power supply of all components.
Re-establish the bus wiring in such a way that all climatronic networks are
connected with the sensor bus via the sensor splitters (
1
).
On the sensor splitter MASTER, set encoding switch 1 back to ON.
This completes the commissioning process.
