The appliance has a start-up sequence as shown in Figure 18 (see page 16) and will only begin
firing if there is a heat demand present, i.e. a signal from a time clock or programmer, or if
Freeze Risk Mode is enabled (See table 6). As the appliance is fully modulating the control
system will monitor the heat demand and work to meet the demand as efficiently as possible.
Once the heat demand has been met the appliance will modulate down through its power bands
and may eventually enter extinguish mode.
If extinguish mode is reached and after final clean, the appliance will enter blocked mode. The
appliance will remain in blocked mode for a period which is pre-set in order to stop the
appliance cycling which is inefficient.
