Scroll using the ‘Down Arrow’ to ‘Preset Drop test’ as shown in Figure 74. This will
indicate a ‘Run No’ condition. This means the test is not currently running:

Push and hold the green combustion door interlock release button. The combustion
door interlock will be heard to release. The combustion door handle can now be lifted
upward to open the combustion door. Place the container to be used for the collection
of pellets during the Preset Drop Test within the combustion area of the heat
exchanger in order to collect the dropped pellets.

Press the ‘Enter key’ on the User Interface Controller to allow selection of the word
‘No’. Use the up arrow to change this option to ‘Yes’ as shown in Figure 75. The
Preset Drop Test will start automatically and pellets will begin to drop into the
container. During the test the time indicated on the User Interface Controller
countdown from 600 seconds, allowing progress to be monitored:

During the test, the User Interface Controller will enter power save mode due to an
absence of any user actions over the course of the test. To quickly re-enter the
‘Engineer’ screen press the ‘Esc’ button.
