Using the Magnesium
Rod Fire Starter
Use knife to scrape off
the black fireproof coating from
the magnesium rods surface
Collect wood chips, hay or other dry flammable
materials. Shave the magnesium rod over the
dry material using the knife
Get close to the fire lighter, and using the back of
the knife, scrape the magnesium rod to produce
sparks and ignite the fire
