WIRING
WARNING
Always insulate and protect all exposed wiring and electrical
terminals.
WARNING
Never route electrical cables across sharp edges or against objects
that might get hot.
Never route electrical cables through or near moving parts.
1. Confirm the power is disconnected.
2. Use the supplied battery cables or use the correct gauge cable for all
power connections.
Battery Gauge
0 - 1.5 m (0 - 5 ft.)
2 Gauge
1.5 M - 6 m (5 - 20 ft.)
1 Gauge
Over 6 m (20 ft.)

4. Minimize cable length where possible.
5. Plan the route for your electrical cords. Make sure to check that
the cables and ground wire can be routed to the hoist and that the
desired contactor/ control pack location is easily accessible.
NOTICE
You may need to adjust your contactor mounting location, due to
specific wiring lengths.
6. Loosely secure power cables along path.
7. The hoist power cable must be routed to the battery. A direct
battery connection of the power (red) and ground (black) cable is
required. Do not connect ground to vehicle chassis.
8. Always route battery cables along a path that allows the cables to be
secured with zip ties.
WARNING
Always protect power cables from sharp edges, areas that get too hot
to touch with your hand and any moving parts.
9. Before connecting cables to terminals, slide terminal boots onto
each end of the cables.
10. Complete wiring following the wiring diagram.
