NOTE:
The load is powered now by the mains. Any blackout in the mains will lead to a blackout for the loads.
4.5.2
Manual Bypass (Parallel Redundant Operation) Initiation
The procedure must be carried out at every UPS unit:

Set the service switch into Bypass position, wait and acknowledge the alarm as described for a single UPS
-
Close MBCB, wait and acknowledge the alarms as described for a single UPS operation
-
Open OCB.
-
Open BCB.
-
Open SBCB.
-
Open RCB
4.5.3
Manual Bypass (Single system) Switch Off
Conditions:
-
The UPS system is switched off, the manual bypass MBCB is active.
-
The service switch is set in bypass position.
Procedure:
-
Close the RCB.
-
Close the SBCB.
-
Close the BCB (also external battery fuses).
-
Close the OCB.
-
Open the external manual bypass, if available.
-
Open the MBCB.
-
Switch over the service switch from “Bypass” to “Normal” position.

Manual Bypass (Parallel Redundant Operation) Switch Off
Conditions:

The UPS system is already switched off, the manual bypass MBCB is active.

The service switch is set in bypass position.
Procedure:

- Close the RCB.
