3 Use/ Application
The WSM-2 polisher motor is a well-proven, efficient and maintenance-free single-
phase AC motor (induction motor) with 2 speed options: 1500 rpm and 3000 rpm. It is
fitted with low-noise, completely maintenance-free ball bearings. Shaft ends have 9 mm
standard tapers for mounting the brush spindles.
4 Before you start
4.1 Unpacking / Transport
- Open the cartons, remove the packing materials, and carefully lift out the instrument
and accessories. Check that the accessories are correct.
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface or mount it on the wall using the optional wall
bracket.
- When transporting the unit, use appropriate packing materials to avoid accidental
damage.
Locate the user manual and read it carefully.
When unpacking, it is important to identify any accidental transport
damage. If necessary, draw up an immediate status report.
