1. Assess where intruders are most likely to enter and the path they would take.
Most intruders enter the home through a back door, patio door, or garage door.
Therefore, it is advisable to place the floodlight near entrances to your home.
2. Mount the floodlight on walls that an intruder would walk alongside, such as a
narrow pathway. The motion sensor works best when movements are detected
parallel to the floodlight, not towards it.
3. You can also mount the floodlight beside your security camera to illuminate the
camera’s vision at night.
4. Although the floodlight is weatherproof, it is advisable to mount it to a wall
shaded from the rain and sunlight to maximize battery life.
• Check your connection to the house power.
• Check the area around the floodlight. There may be something in the area (e.g. a
small animal) that is triggering it.
One or more floodlight(s) is flashing on and off. What's going on?
There are several possibilities. Try the following items:
Mounting Your Camera (Stick Up Cam Battery)
1. To charge your camera via the floodlight, remove the charging port cap of the
camera and connect the floodlight’s charging cable. Press in firmly.
2. Screw the camera onto the mount.
3. Open the USB port cap of the floodlight and connect the charging cable. Press in
firmly.
