Interpreting Tube Readings

(a)
When the end of the colour change layer is flat, Read the value at the end of the layer. In this
example, the reading should be 5%.
(b)
When the end of the colour change layer is slanted. Read the value in the middle of the slant. In
this exaggerated example, the reading should be 5%.
(c)
When the demercation of the colour change layer is pale. Read the value in the middle between
the dark layer end and the pale layer end. In this exaggerated example, the reading should be 5%.
