You must activate your LiveSecurity Service to enable VPN 3DES
encryption or receive WatchGuard Support. To activate your LiveSecurity

You can now turn to for step-by-step guidance through the process of
discovering
your new Firebox Vclass appliance via the network. Once the
appliance has been discovered, you can immediately begin the initial
software configuration, as detailed in the following chapter.

OTE
If you want others to have access to this new appliance for administrative
or monitoring purposes, you can allow them to install the Vcontroller
software onto their workstations. Prior to their using the Vcontroller,
you, as the System Administrator, should first configure the appliance,
then use the Vcontroller Account Manager window to set up access
privileges and accounts for each additional user. These configuration and
access management processes are fully detailed in the
System
Administration Guide
.
Installing the Vcontroller (Linux)
Before proceeding with the following, make sure you have all of the
network addressing information that will represent the Firebox Vclass
security appliance, including the IP address and accompanying subnet
mask that will replace the default addressing assigned to each of the data
ports of the appliance–0 (Private), 1 (Public) and 2 (DMZ) interfaces
(where available).
