When asked by the installation script to indicate where the JDK is,
type the pathway to that directory.

The installation can now proceed to completion.
10 When installation is complete, you can launch the Vcontroller and
complete the installation at this time by executing this command:
Vcontroller
Be sure that the directory containing the Vcontroller software is listed in the
PATH
environment variable

The Vcontroller Login dialog box appears.

You must activate your LiveSecurity Service to enable VPN 3DES
encryption or receive WatchGuard Support. To activate your LiveSecurity
Service, go to:

You can now turn to “Discovering a new Firebox Vclass appliance” on
page 38 for step-by-step guidance through the process of “discovering”
your new Firebox Vclass appliance via the network. Once the appliance
has been discovered, you can immediately begin the initial software
configuration, as detailed in the following chapter.

OTE
If you want others to have access to this new appliance, for administrative
or monitoring purposes, you can allow them to install the Vcontroller
software onto their workstations/computers. Prior to their using the
Vcontroller, you, as the System/Network Administrator, should first
configure the appliance, then use the Vcontroller Account Manager
window to set up access privileges and accounts for each additional user.
