If the WSEP application was running, restart it
after
saving the changes.
As a service, using the Command Prompt
If the WSEP application was not installed by the Watch-
Guard Firebox System installation wizard, this must be
done from the Command Prompt DOS window.

Select
Start
=>
Run
and type:
command
.
A Command prompt window appears.

Change directories to the WatchGuard installation
directory.
The default installation directory is C:\Program
Files\WatchGuard.

At the command line, type:
controld -nt-install
You can perform other commands for the WSEP applica-
tion from the Command Prompt:
•
To start the WSEP application, at the command line,
type:
-
controld -nt-start
•
To stop the WSEP application, at the command line,
type:
-
controld -nt-stop
•
To remove the WSEP application, at the command line,
type:
-
controld -nt-remove
Interactive mode from a Command Prompt
The WSEP application can also run in interactive mode
from a Command Prompt window. To so this, type:
con-
trold –NT –interactive
N
OTE
You can minimize the Command Prompt window. However,
do
not
close it. Closing the Command Prompt window halts
the WSEP application.
