Activating the LiveSecurity
®
Service
The LiveSecurity Service can be activated through the
setup wizard on the CD-ROM or through the activation
section of the WatchGuard LiveSecurity Web pages. The
setup wizard is detailed thoroughly in the
QuickStart Guide
and in the “Getting Started” chapter of this book.
To activate the LiveSecurity Service through the Web:

Be sure that you have the LiveSecurity license key and
the Firebox serial number handy. You will need these
during the activation process.
- The Firebox serial number is displayed in two
locations: a small silver sticker on the outside of
the shipping box, and a sticker on the back of the
Firebox just below the UPC bar code
- The license key number is located on the
WatchGuard LiveSecurity Agreement License
Key Certificate. Enter the number in the exact
form shown on the key, including the hyphens.

Using your Web browser, go to:
http://www.watchguard.com/account/register.asp
The Account page appears.
