Troubleshooting
Please refer to the FAQ table below for easy troubleshooting. The table below describes some
typical problems and their solutions. Please read this information before contacting your dealer.
Problem
Solution
No power
- Ensure the power cable is firmly connected
- Confirm that there is power from the outlet.
No live video
- Ensure the recorder and cameras are within range.
- Check the cameras cable and connections.
- Check the monitors cable and connections.
- Ensure you are not in playback mode.
No video when viewing remotely
- Ensure the sub stream is enabled for each camera.
Slow remote view
- Adjust each cameras Sub Stream (see page 9)
No recorded video
- Ensure a compatible hard drive is installed, and is
connect correctly
Can’t detect your USB flash drive
- Use another USB flash drive to test.
- Ensure it is formatted to FAT32.
