• Press and release: Motor stops
• Press and release: (Repeat sequence from top)
Caution
Care should be taken when using the switch as it is possible to drive the motor
axes beyond their normal operating travel limits. Also note that if the switch
is used to drive the infeed sidelay axis to the home reference point, the refer-
ence point will be incorrect as the sidelays were not energised.
In the normal ‘active’ state the status LED should flash continuously at
approximately three pulses per second. If a fault condition is detected the LED
will pulse slowly a certain number of times (see Table 8:5) to indicate the par-
ticular fault. Note that the status pattern is only displayed once before the nor-
mal ‘active’ pattern continues.
Motor Control PCB Addresses:
The Motor Control PCB 900-152 is a com-
mon part regardless of where it is situated within the machine. To differentiate
between the boards and to control individual axes, each board must have its
own unique software address. As part of the serial circuit that connects power
and communications to all boards there is also a ‘trigger’ line. The Motor
PCBs are automatically addressed as follows using the ‘trigger’ line during
machine power up:
Note: The TrimMaster Control PCB always has a fixed address of ‘12’.
Manually Addressing the Motor PCBs:
The Motor PCB address can be
verified and set using the manual addressing procedure.
1. Remove power to the Motor PCB by disconnecting PL1 or turning off at
source.
2. Press and hold button switch SW1.
3. Reapply power to the board.
