Remove the gear box assembly and set it aside.

Using a drill with a 1/16" diameter drill bit, drill pilot holes through the motor mounting plate at each of the three marks

you drew.

Set the gear box assembly back into place and realign it.  Install and tighten the three M2.5 x 1 wood screws to hold the

gear box assembly securely in place.

IMPORTANT

When installing the gear box, install one M3 flat washer between the gear box and the motor plate

on the

top two screws only

.  This will put about 1º of downthrust in the gear box and is required for the airplane to

fly properly.

YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING PARTS FROM THE KIT:

(2) M1.5 x 150 Threaded Wires

(2) M1.5 x 400 Threaded Wires

(4) M1.5 x 25 Machine Screws

(4) M1.5 x 8 Machine Screws

(4) Nylon Control Horn Front Plates

(4) Nylon Control Horn Back Plates

(4) Nylon Clevises

(4) Nylon Adjustable Control Horns

(2) Nylon Pushrod Supports

(1) Elevator/Rudder Servo Mounting Board - 2 Parts

(1) Aileron Servo Mounting Board - 2 Parts

YOU'LL NEED THE FOLLOWING TOOLS AND SUPPLIES:

1/16" Drill Bit

Ruler

Pencil

Paper Towels

Rubbing Alcohol

NHP Epoxy Mixing Sticks

NHP Epoxy Mixing Cups

Using the tip of your modeling knife, remove the die-cut

piece from inside each piece of elevator/rudder servo
mounting board.

Remove one piece of servo mounting board from the

protective backing and stick the board to the side of the
fuselage, making sure that the cutout in the mounting board
is aligned over the servo cutout in the side of the fuselage.

Repeat the procedures above to apply the second piece of elevator/rudder servo mounting board to the other side of

the fuselage.
