Lithium-iron-phosphate battery

Important and safety-relevant information
• Never open the battery housing!
Opening the battery will immediately invalidate
the manufacturer‘s warranty.
• Only use the battery for the application for which it is intended.
• Never short circuit the battery.
The cable connections from the battery to the
consumers/devices must be protected by a fuse.
• We recommend that installation and maintenance be carried out by qualified personnel.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight for long periods. Protect from heat. Temperatures
above +60 °C can damage the battery.
• Only use compatible chargers.
• We recommend checking the charge level regularly, especially during a winter break,
and recharging may be necessary.
Please refer to the individual data sheet for the
recommended recharging times!
These also apply for longer storage periods.
• Ensure proper installation.
• Avoid damage of any kind, for example by dropping, drilling or similar (risk of short circuit).
• Keep the battery as dry and clean as possible, taking into account the IP protection
classification.
• Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) markings on the battery and all devices to be
connected and ensure that the polarity is correct
• The battery connections are always live! You should therefore never place objects or tools
on the lithium battery. Avoid short circuits. Use insulated tools. Do not wear any metal
objects, watches, bracelets, etc. on your body. In the event of a fire, use a class D fire
extinguisher, foam or CO2 fire extinguisher.
• Never lift the battery by the connections, only by the handles.
• Please follow these instructions and keep them for future reference.
