Lithium-iron-phosphate battery
Nova-Series
A claim under the guarantee requires that the guarantor is able to examine the guarantee case to
the following extent:
1.
Remote diagnosis of the log file: The customer must first download the log file from the
Nova App and then provide the log file via the Returns Portal (see procedure below) to
enable inspection. If provision is not possible due to a battery malfunction, step 2 must be
applied. Sending in the battery must be approved by the manufacturer, otherwise the
customer may incur costs.
2.
Sending in the battery: After approval by the manufacturer or technical support, the
customer must ensure that the goods are sent in for on site inspection and detailed testing.
Care must be taken to ensure that damage during transportation is avoided by using appro
priate packaging. We recommend keeping the original product packaging for this purpose.
In general, the following applies: To apply for warranty service if the device needs to be returned, an
invoice or order number for the consignment, a brief description of the fault and the reference
number (e.g. RT12345678) must be enclosed with the consignment. The defect must be claimed no
later than 14 days after it occurs. We ask for your understanding that the manufacturer may refuse to
process and inspect the claim if the above information is not enclosed. Sending a copy of the invoice
serves to calculate the warranty period.
All components replaced as part of a warranty service become the property of WATTSTUNDE® GmbH
when the warranty service is rendered.
If the warranty claim is justified after a thorough examination, the warranty service will be free of
charge for you. The shipment of the goods in a recognized warranty case is also free of charge for the
customer.
Note:
Your statutory rights are not restricted by this guarantee promise. In particular, any existing statutory
warranty rights against us remain unaffected by this guarantee promise. For commercial customers,
the German Commercial Code (HGB) is the guideline for guarantee and warranty claims.
