The WTC-3 is not equipped with built in timer, however it
is possible to connect an external timer to give a simple
method of controlling the comfort/economy mode. An
external timer can only control the whole system. It is not
possible to set the timer mode by room thermostat.
Note:
Only connect the contact output of the timer to WTC-3
Note:
Economy mode status is a closed contact.
Two different version of timer are available in the market:
Digital version
Analog version

Room thermostat with time schedule(Tt)
The Economy temperature will be controlled.
Tt has to be placed in the reference room, and it has to
occupy an analogue output on the WTC-3.
Tt has a weekly program: the periods of comfort and the
economy mode temperature has to be set.
The thermostat must have open contact for comfort
mode.

Tt must to be connected to 31 and 32 output of WTC-3.
When Tt is in economy mode, all system will work in
economy mode.
To make system works correctly, follows this rules while
setting the thermostat:
In summer, in cooling mode always set Tt to
comfort mode. Otherwise when set to economy
mode all system will turn off, no matter what
temperature you set for economy mode.
In winter, in heating mode, preset Tt comfort
temperatures as high as possible (higher than
DRT-200 temperature which is placed in the same
room of Tt). Comfort temperature will be not
controlled by Tt, but by comfort temperature of
DRT-200.
In winter, in heating mode, preset Tt economy
temperature and all system will be controlled by
this temperature. If room temperature will drop
below this economy temperature, the system
will turn on heating, and consequently, when
room temperature will rise above economy
temperature, it will turn off heating.
