RSS
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) provides you with a list of current news items in a
brief format so you can scan headlines and choose the items that interest you most
without visiting websites.
Reading RSS Feeds
1. Navigate to the Home | RSS menu, then press
OK
.
2. The screen displays all available RSS feeds. The display is in grid view. Use the
navigation buttons to select a headline of a RSS feed that you want to read, then
press
OK
.
Note:
You can display your RSS feeds in a streaming ticker display on the home page. See “RSS
Adding RSS Feeds
To add an RSS feed to the media player:
1. In the RSS main screen, navigate to the
button then press OK.
2. Enter the URL of the RSS feed using the on-screen keyboard (see the website of
the RSS feed provider for details), select Submit, then press
OK
.
3. Press
OK
again to add the RSS feed.
Note:
You can also add RSS feeds using the Web UI. See “RSS” on page 46.
