To adjust the angle of the Hedgecu

er, loosen the locking lever; rotate the Hedgecu
tt
er head to the
desired angle. Tighten the locking lever to the adjuster; ensuring blade is secure, before opera
ti
ng.

It is advisable to cut a hedge from the bo
tt
om up, sweeping the cu
tt
er head in an arc as you move along
the hedge. The double edged cu
tt
er blades allow cu
tti
ng of your hedge in both dire
cti
ons.
To cut the top of the hedge, adjust the cu
tt
er head to a horizontal pos
iti
on. Hold the cu
tt
er head at an
angle of 0-10 degrees as you sweep the head in an arc across the top of your hedge, towards the outside
to allow cu
tti
ngs to fall to the ground.
Pay special a
tte
n
ti
on to hedges which are pos
iti
oned along wire fencing. If the cu
tti
ng blades make
contact with the fence, damage may occur.
Do not use the Hedgecu
tt
er A
tt
achment for periods greater than 45 minutes. Take a break for 10-15
minutes or a
ft
er using one tank of fuel.
If the blade comes into contact with a stone, wire or other foreign object, stop immediately and check for
any damage to the blades immediately.

Always check for any damage before each use and replace a damaged blade immediately, with an
approved replacement part. A
