ADJUSTING CARBURETOR
Do not adjust carburetor unless necessary. If you have trouble with the carburetor, see your dealer. Improper adjustment
may cause en

Clean or replace the plu

if fouled with heavy oily deposits.
Replace the plu

f the center electrode is worn or rounded at the end.

BLADES

ap exists between the upper & lower blades, follow the below steps to adjust them, so that they are closer to

performance.
Loosen locknut (A) as shown below, with a spanner.

ten screw (B) fully, and then loosen by a half rota

on with a screwdriver.
While holdin

the screw in pos

on with a screwdriver,

hten the locknut with a spanner.
Check to make sure,

t washer (C) is loose enou

h to be turned by your

er.

tly may make it impossible for the blades to move. Conversely, not

ciently may make the blades feel dull and cause leaves and branches to become cau

ase nipples located on the
gear
case.
