OPERATION
DRIVE CONTROL (Model: WER18SPES)
The drive is controlled by holding the Operator Presence Control bar down to the handle and pulling the
Drive Control lever back towards the handle.
Forward motion will stop when the Operator Presence Control bar is released. To stop forward motion
without stopping the engine release the Drive Control lever until the drive control disengages and hold the
Operator Presence Control bar down against handle to continue mowing without the drive.
Operator Presence Control (OPC) Bar
- must be held down to the handle to start the engine with the Push
Button. Release the handle to stop the engine.
Drive Control (Self-Propelled) Lever
- used to engage self- propelled motion of the lawn mower.
LAWNMOWER ENGINE SPEED
The engine speed was set at the factory for optimum performance. Speed is not adjustable.
ADJUST CUTTING HEIGHT
Lower the cutting deck for a low cut and raise the deck for a high cut; adjust cutting height to suit your
requirements. Medium position is best for most lawns. If you have extremely high grass, it is recommended
you cut in stages, gradually reducing the grass height.
