Important
•
Make sure the nipple is centered in the nipple protector and sealed. Otherwise,
there is risk that the milk enter into the Motor, which might damage the motor
unit.
•
During suck cycle, if you feel the suction is too strong, press “Mode” button to release vac-
cum. Move away the breast shield cup, adjust the suction to be proper.
•
Always hold the breast pump in an upright position when using to ensure liquids do not
enter into the motor unit.
Cleaning the Pump
•
Dismantle all components and thoroughly wash (except for the motor unit and AC adap-
tor) using clean warm soapy water. The unit is also dishwasher compatible. Please ensure
all components are placed in the top tray.
•
To clean the motor unit simple wipe with a moist soapy cloth. Do not immerse the unit in
water.
Troubleshooting
Motor unit does not work
•
If using batteries please check the batteries are inserted correctly and are the right way
around.
•
Try replacing the batteries with super heavy duty alkaline or lithium batteries.
•
Attempt to use with the adaptor.
There is no suction
•
Turn the suction dial at the back of the unit to ‘High’.
•
Check the battery strength (the batteries may need replacing).
•
Ensure all components are fastened tightly and there are no air gaps.
•
Ensure the breast is positioned in the breast shield cup so there are no air gaps.
•
Ensure the flow funnel is placed and fixed firmly, no breakage on the soft edge
I am not expressing milk
Some mothers may experience difficulty in expressing milk. Please first try the hot comp-
ression and massage techniques advised earlier in the manual. Also visit your breast fee-
ding specialist to determine if you can breastfeed using an Electric Pump.
Storing breast milk
If the breast milk is not used immediately, firmly close the full bottle and keep it in the
refrigerator.
