Turning the machine on and off
6.3.1 Electrical heating (versions without Display)
Before switching the machine on make sure that the
water level in the boiler is over the minimum indicated
by the optical level (

).
In some versions the optical level is replaced by a
green warning light (

If there is no water (first installation or after boiler
maintenance), it is necessary to fill the boiler in advance,
so as to prevent overheating of the heating element.
Proceed as follows:
SWITCH
•
Open the water mains tap;
•
Operating on the manual charge (

)
charge water in boiler until the optima
level is restored;
•
rotate the switch to position “1” and wait
for the complete heating of the machine.
SELECTOR
•
Open the water mains tap;
•
rotate the selector to position “1” (electri-
cal powering of the pump for the auto-
matic filling of the boiler and of machine
services) and wait for the automatic
charging of water in the boiler;
•
rotate the selector to position “2” (total electrical
powering including the boiler resistor) and wait for
the machine to heat up completely.
