Disconnection

After completing the filling procedures and thorough venting of the media hose line,
close the connector up again.
Caution:
First depressurize the system before releasing the connection.
Attention:
The system must be fully depressurized so that the safety peg (pos. 5) on
the connector can retract and the actuator is no longer blocked.
Connecting a TW54 with bail actuation and actuation lever
Î
Guide the actuation unit (pos. 1) upwards as far as it will go. The clamping jaws will
close together.
Note:
The safety peg (pos. 5) at the connector must be fully retracted. Actuating
before the equipment is fully depressurized and before the safety peg has fully
retracted can result in damage to the safety peg.

Pull the connector
straight
back. Doing so will prevent any damage to the front seal
caused by any sharp edges on the cylinder valve.
Attention:
In the event that you cannot remove the connector:
- Wait a few moments
- Never use excessive force
- Do not use any tools (e.g. hammer)
- Make sure that the connector is depressurized. The safety peg (pos. 5) at the
connector must be fully retracted.
Disconnecting a TW54 with bail actuation, flexible wire rope and locking device
Î
Press the locking device (pos. 8) upwards. Fold the bail actuation (pos. 6)
downwards. The flexible wire rope will fold upwards and the clamping jaws will close
together.
Note:
The safety peg (pos. 5) at the connector must be fully retracted. Actuating
before the equipment is fully depressurized and before the safety peg has fully
retracted can result in damage to the safety peg.
