8 Hygienic reprocessing
3. Brush the soiled areas for at least 2 minutes under running
faucet water using a cleaning brush until they look clean.
4. Rinse the cleaned areas for 2 minutes under running
faucet water.
5. If necessary: Open the bags.
6. Wash parts with cleaning agent and disinfectant in
the washing machine without spinning:
•
Pre-washing: 5 min. at 20°C
•
Main washing: 30 min. at 30°C
Result
The parts are mechanically reprocessed.
8.6 Preparing parts for reuse
Requirement
The parts have been subjected to hygienic reprocessing according
to the cleaning and disinfection plan.
1. Check all parts for damage due to use, e.g., cable breakage.
2. Replace damaged parts.
3. If available: Attach the belts to the portable unit
(see "4.3 Attaching the belt to the portable unit", page 36)

4. Attach the devices to the portable unit

5. If available: Attach the protective bags and accessories bags
to the portable unit

6. If available: Attach the oxygen cylinder to the portable unit

9. With longer storage period: Place parts in storage in
accordance with the storage conditions
