Information on correct use of
the battery
If you have updated the software on your device to Version 6.9, the
device will no longer correspond exactly to the description in the
original instructions for use. Intended as a supplement to those
instructions for use, this note on use describes the correct use of
the MEDUMAT Transport battery. Please always also observe the
instructions for use. The latest instructions for use including this
supplement can be found at: www.weinmann-emergency.com
Safety information
Updated function check
To ensure that the battery is inserted correctly, the following point
has been added to the MEDUMAT Transport function check
following the software update to Version 6.9.
•
Apply pressure to the battery to check whether it is correctly
clicked into place.
•
Perform the function check by following the instructions on the
display as normal.
Risk of injury when battery is not inserted correctly!
An incorrectly inserted battery can cause the device to fail or
result in injury to the patient.
Please insert the battery in such a way that it audibly clicks into
place
