Operation
Removing the empty cylinder
1. Close the cylinder valve.
2. Depressurize the system by opening a dosage unit until
the pressure falls to 0 bar.
3. Unscrew and remove the pressure reducer.
4. Open the cylinder clamps by releasing the latches.
Note:
If the cylinder clamps are too tight, it may prove
difficult to release the latches. In this event, use the
adjusting screw to reduce the clamping force.
5. Pull the oxygen cylinder diagonally upwards and out of
its holding bracket.
Connecting a new cylinder
1. Briefly open the valve of the new oxygen cylinder and then shut it again. This is to blow
away any particles of dust.
Warning!
Never hold the cylinder with the connector pointing at you or another person.
Otherwise, rapidly-flying particles of dust could get into the eyes and lead to injury.
It is also important to prevent O

from getting into clothing.
2. Place the new oxygen cylinder into the clamp in the box. Ensure that the threaded
connection faces the wall of the box.
