15.Remove the hand-screwed connection
from the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
16.Wipe the pressure reducer with a clean, dry cloth.
8.5 Checking the contents indicator
1. Screw the hand-screwed connection
onto the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.
2. Screw the hand-screwed connection
tight by hand.
3. Set the multistep flow selector
to "0".
4. Check the needle on the contents indicator
.

is at "0".
5. Check whether the contents indicator
can be rotated.
Requirement:

can be rotated.
6. Open the valve of the oxygen cylinder slowly.
Requirement:
The contents indicator
displays the cylinder pressure.
7. Close the valve on the oxygen cylinder.
8. Set the multistep flow selector
to "15".
Requirement:
The needle of the contents indicator
moves towards "0"
without catching.
9. Set the multistep flow selector
to "0".
10.Remove the hand-screwed connection
from the valve of
the oxygen cylinder.

1. Screw the hand-screwed connection
onto the valve of the
oxygen cylinder.
2. Screw the hand-screwed connection
tight by hand.
3. Set the multistep flow selector
to "0".
