Web frontend
Here, the firmware can be updated and all current device/system information (addresses,
descriptions, IP settings) are shown. Also, in order not to have to press the on-device
programming button on site, the programming mode of the gateway can be activated and
deactivated in the web frontend (remote function).
7.5.1
Access via IP network, IP address and MAC address
If there is an IP connection between the gateway and the PC, the gateway appears un-
der Network in Windows Explorer. Double-clicking on the device opens the web frontend
in the default browser.
Using the IP address

Enter IP address and HTTP port in the browser line as follows:
http://IP-Adresse:HTTP-Port/
(example: http://192.168.1.200:8080/)
Using the MAC address
▶
Enter the last six numbers and digits of the MAC address
(format: AA-BB-CC-XX-YY-ZZ) and HTTP port in the browser line as follows:
http://knx-ipgw-XXYYZZ:HTTP-Port/
(example: http://knx-ipgw-0047ec:8080/)
7.5.2
WEM system table
Under 'WEM' the topology of the WEM system can be checked. The contents of the sys-
tem table shown here are created by the WEM system and are stored as a csv file on the
SD card of the system device. The csv file contains the complete structure of the WEM
system, i.e. the WEM devices, the module addresses and other information.
By clicking on 'Start', a request is sent to the system device to read the system table.
Since it can take a short time, depending on the plant size, until all data has fully arrived
in the gateway, the browser page must be updated by clicking on 'Refresh'.
