10.1.1
Gripping force
GRIPKIT CR PLUS
has an integrated gripping force control. The gripping force can be
specified as a percentage of the nominal gripping force of the gripping module. Possi-
ble values are 25 to 100 % of the nominal gripping force.
10.2
Define a grip
To define a grip, go to the "Gripping Settings" tab. Select the parameters for "Limit
value no part" and "Limit value part release" and confirm the entries with "Apply".
When gripping and releasing, electrical gripping modules stop at the „No
Part Limit“ and the „Release Limit“.
You must then specify the gripping force as a percentage of the nominal force. The
nominal force of the gripping module used can be found in chapter 8 Technical data.
With the parameters "Override gripping" and "Override enable" you can readjust the
gripping speed. Both values are set to 100 % by default. When gripping, this value re-
fers to the optimal gripping speed calculated by the gripper depending on the part size
and gripping force. You can set values from 1-200 % here. When releasing, 100 % is the
absolute maximum speed of the gripper. Values of 1-100 % are possible here.
