10.3.1 Disposal of components
Modules should be disposed of correctly!
Incorrect disposal of modules can cause environmental damage and will be prose-
cuted!
Dispose of modules in compliance with valid local regulations. Ensure that auxiliary
operational media are disposed of in compliance with environmental protection regula-
tions. Local regulations governing the correct recycling and disposal of waste should be
observed.
A module of the Linear Assembly System that is no longer used should not be disposed
of as a complete unit.
The oil contained in the drive unit of the locking station as well as the corner unit must be
drained prior dismantling the respective module and taken to an authorised oil collection
point for environmentally responsible disposal.
The modules must subsequently be dismantled. The individual parts must be recycled
according to material type. Materials that cannot be reused must be disposed of!
Information concerning disposal and collecting points is available from your local govern-
ment agencies.
For disposal strictly comply with the applicable national and regional laws and
regulations.
