Replacing the toothed belt of tranportation
Crushing injuries
Fingers can be crushed when reaching between toothed belt and toothed belt pulley or
drive pinion. Do not reach between parts.
1. Loosen the fixing screws [1] on the belt deflection.
`
This releases the pre-tension of the toothed transport belt.
2. Loosen the fixing screws [2] on the belt drive, however do not remove them yet.
3. Remove the cover [3] of the deflection rollers on the belt drive.
4. Pull the belt drive [4] down far enough that the toothed belt [5] can be taken off above
the deflection rollers.
5. Insert new toothed belt and guide it around the deflection rollers [6] and the pinion [7].
6. Re-tighten the fixing screws [2] on the belt drive and mount the cover [3] of the
deflection rollers.
7. Screw in the fixing screws [1] on the belt deflection element and tighten slightly.
8. Tension the toothed belt by sliding the belt deflection element with a screwdriver [8]
and firmly tightening the fixing screws [1] on the belt deflection element.
